2mm Pitch Pin Header
Mounting Stype
Like other headers in the range, the 2mm Pitch Pin Header is available in two mounting styles – Through-Hole (TH) and Surface Mount (SMT/SMD). SMD speeds up the assembly process, significantly saving time and labor costs. Both styles, straight/vertical and right-angle orientations, are available.
Customizable
- Pin Length – We use 0.50mm square pin for 2mm pitch header, the length of the post(PA) and the tail(PC) can be customized according to customers’ requirements;
- The height of the insulator for 2.00mm Pitch: 1.50mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm;
- Positions from 1×1 ~ 1×40, 2×1 ~ 2×40, 3×1 ~ 3×40, 4×1 ~ 4×40;
- Options for Locating Pegs/Posts;
- Options for Polarization bumps;
- Picking-up Cap – for auto pick-up and place machine;
- Customized Packing: Loose in Bag, Tray, Tube, Tape & Reel;
- Customized Plating: Tin, varied levels of gold plating.
Elevated Header
The 2mm Pin Header also supports the elevated style, also known as board spacer or stacked style. In the elevated pin header, dual insulators are stacked together, offering a variety of dimension choices. With the assistance of varied profile/thickness of the insulator, different requirements for the distance between the PCB can be easily customized.
Housing Material
We utilize high-quality UL-approved material for insulators (UL 94V-0), capable of a wide temperature operating range from -40°C to +105°C. Our 2mm Pitch Connectors are suitable for the reflow soldering process, requiring 230°C for 30-60 seconds (260°C for 5-10 seconds), using PA6T or LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) material. The insulation resistance is a minimum of 1000 mΩ.
Contact Material
The pin is made of Copper Alloy, with a gold plating process over nickel, ensuring better contact and anti-corrosion properties. The pin size is a square pin with a dimension of 0.50mm. The standard current rating is 1.5 Amps.
Packing Style
Tube (with caps on both ends) and tape & reel packing options are available for all the 2mm SMT/SMD Pin Header models. These headers come with a pick-up cap on the top, facilitating automatic pick & place processes.
